Rising in Northwest Sutton county, the Devils River is considered the most unspoiled river in Texas. Running through massive limestone canyons and Sycamore tree lined banks, visiting the Devils River is an adventure you won't forget. This is a true destination fly fishing adventure for that angler looking to check another box on their bucket list. The pristine spring-fed waters provide the ideal habitat for trophy Largemouth and Smallmouth bass. It's like bass fishing in the Caribbean. Our days on the Devils are full of site fishing opportunities in the crystal clear water. Anglers with advanced skill sets will enjoy the challenge of fly fishing this Texas treasure. We are one of few TPWD contracted Devils River guide services and have exclusive access to the river through the Devils River State Natural Area, a 30,000+ acre wilderness area, & one of 14 Dark Sky Sanctuaries in the World. We offer fully guided raft or kayaking trips; allowing you to fish, camp and explore one of the premier rivers in the country. Join us in the Spring, or Fall seasons for a trip you'll never forget!
The fall and winter months find us chasing trophy sized Rainbow and Brown trout on the Guadalupe River below Canyon Lake Dam. The efforts of Texas Parks and Wildlife along with the Guadalupe River Trout Unlimited chapter have helped make this river one of the top trophy trout fisheries in the U.S. Catching trout in the 20+ inch range is very common. We offer half or full day raft fly fishing trips from mid October through the Spring months.
The Llano River carves its way through the Llano uplift from Kimble County on through Mason county. This river is a secluded fly fishing destination and contains Guadalupe bass, the state fish of Texas, and Largemouth bass. We offer 2-3 day fully guided down river float trips on the Llano, camping out on the river each night. This remote Texas stream is loaded with fish and should be on every fly anglers list of places to fish. We offer trips to the Llano during the Spring and Fall seasons.
The San Marcos River is one of our top Bass fishing destinations in TX. An abundance of trophy sized Largemouth bass, Guadalupe bass, and our favorite, the Smallmouth Bass. With over 20 miles of great fishable water, the San Marcos river offers great opportunity to find the right water, and avoid crowds during peak season. Most stretches our guides fish on this river have a "Jungle Feel" to them with the dense vegetation and massive trees that line the entire bank. Come spend a day on this beautiful spring fed fishery with us and see what one of the best flowing rivers in the Texas Hill Country has to offer.
The Blanco River is another great bass fishery located just outside the small town of Blanco TX. We spend many days on this river during the early spring and summer months. An otherwise not so pressured fishery, the Blanco offers great opportunity of catching big bass on the fly. We offer full and half day float trips on the Blanco!
